Rosa Ellen Hendrick, 85, of Pinnacle lake Road, Bluefield, WV, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Princeton Health Care with her family by her bedside.
Rosa was born in Horsepen, VA on May 7, 1930 to the late Charles and Jenny Matthews Myers. She had lived in Bluefield for 65 years and was a retired manager at Dairy Queen’s for 30+ years. She was a special MaMaw to many children other than her own. She will be fondly remembered by countless friends and church family. She was a longtime member of the Mt. Herman Baptist Church
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney B. Hendrick; youngest son, Daniel Hendrick; two brothers, Clarence and Woodrow Myers; and one sister, Mildred Hellmandollar.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dewayne Belcher and Rev. Emory Marchant officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Brandon Hendrick, Jason Culver, Nathan Hendrick, Phillip Stafford, Gary Culver, and Ricky Dobbs serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
