Eloise Reed, 86, of Singer Lane, Princeton, and formerly of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on January 25, 1929 in Elkhorn, she was a daughter of the late Wiley and Lottie Caldwell Osborne. She had been a resident of Princeton for 6 years and was formerly of Christiansburg, VA. She was a member of the Princeton First Church of God. She was a retired customer service clerk from the Kroger Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Woodrow Hurst; her second husband, Glenn Calvert Reed; 2 infant sisters, 4 sisters, Catherine Quesenberry, Sylvia Osborne, Goldie Williams and Daphna Lambert; and 2 brothers, Oakley and Kiser Osborne. Survivors include: Daughter: Rebecca Hundley and William Jonathan of Princeton Stepson: Guy Daniel Reed of Wilson’s Mills, NC Step grandchildren: Matthew Guy Reed, Jonathan Hundley, Yvonne Williams, and Paul Hundley Step great-grandchildren: Davis and Ellis Reed, and Natalie and John Williams A host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry McCallister, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite food bank.
