Madeline Carol Herndon

Madeline Carol Herndon 73 of Sandlick Road Bluefield, WV formerly of Bramwell, WV passed away on Thursday, August 06, 2015 at Charleston Area Medical Center. Carol was born on July 22, 1942 in McComas, WV to the late Woodrow and Nora Church. She was a Member of the Bramwell United Methodist Church and President of United Methodist Women as well as a graduate of Bramwell High School. Carol was a member of the Cora Johnson Circle at Bramwell United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Eugene Church and Bobby Church. She is survived by: Her husband: Ronnie L. Herndon of the home Two Brothers: Val Church and wife Dorothy of WI David Church and wife Jean of KY One Sister: Paulette and John of Princeton, WV Sister in Laws: Deloris Herndon of Princeton, WV Carolyn and Dorwin of Bluewell, WV Russell and Barbara Bailey of Sandlick, WV Dorothy Faye Church of IL Mary Church of AZ Four Godchildren: Julia Plasky, Teddy Jackson, Billy Church and Tina O’Dell Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where Mike Davis, Tim Wright, Jerry Davis, Russell Bailey Jr, Ronnie Shepard and Bradley Davis will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, August 09, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
