Lewis John Williamson 97 of Bluefield, WV formerly of Bramwell, WV passed away on Friday, August 07, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, WV. Lewis was born on March 26, 1918 in Bedford, VA to the late Lanie and Donie Maxie Williamson. Lewis was a long time employee of Belcher Alignment Service in Bluewell, WV and had been a resident of Bluefield, WV for the past 6 years after moving from Bramwell, WV. Lewis served his country with the US Army during WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Emma Lou Barrett Williamson and one son Lewis Williamson Jr. Lewis is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Joyce McFadden Williamson of the home Children: Brenda Honaker of Bluefield, VA James Williamson of Bluewell, WV Patsy Cox of Tennessee Larry Williamson and wife Vickie of South Carolina Shirley Ratliff of Tennessee Ricky Williamson and wife Margaret of North Carolina Ray Williamson and wife Christie of Tennessee Sandy Mathena of West Virginia Sharon Shockey and husband Mike of Tennessee Leslie Graham and husband Steve of Virginia Melissa Cox and husband Michael of Tennessee Amanda Flower and husband Nate of West Virginia One Sister: Nellie Harrison of Florida His Best Friend: Cuddles 28 Grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Rev. Kenneth Bogart Sr. officiating the service. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
