Lesly "Toejoe" Joe Hicks

Lesly “Toejoe” Joe Hicks 38 of Montcalm, WV passed away on July 10, 2015. Lesly was born on October 10, 1976 in Bluefield, WV to Tony and Tammy McNaught Hicks. Lesly had been a resident of Montcalm for the past 11 years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Sherman and Ruth Hicks and maternal grandparents Al and Dorothy Perfors and his aunt Michelle Lee Perfors. Toejoe loved all sports; his heart bled Black and Yellow because he was a true Pittsburg Steelers fan. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, NASCAR and most of all playing outside with his kids. He had a special nickname for each of his children. Ariel was “Squirrel” because of her squeezable, chubby cheeks. Brooklyn was “Brookie Brookie” and she tried to match him in any battle. Bradley was “Brad Brad”, his best friend who was his biggest sports competitor. Madison was his “Fruit Loop” and was his spy for what was going on in the house. Toejoe had such a huge heart and love for his children unconditionally. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Eddie Mabe officiating the service and Joseph Hicks II speaking at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:40 p.m. at the funeral home.
