Adele Mara Wright, 66, of Rock, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her home. Born on January 15, 1949 in Bramwell, she was a daughter of the late Cletus E. and Mable L. Bailey Woods. She had been a resident of Rock for 15 years and was a member of the Deliverance Temple Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Carline and Bobby Woods; and a grandson, David Kolb. Survivors include: Husband of 44 years: James P. Wright of the home Daughter: Tammy Kolb and Robert of Bluefield Grandchildren: Anthony Kolb, JoAnn Kolb and Heather Kolb Great grandchild: Adria Kolb Brothers: William J. Woods of Matoaka Roger D. Woods of Matoaka Michael D. Woods and Sharon of Matoaka Sisters: Dorothy G. Farmer of Bramwell Goldie D. Bailey of Axton, VA Dora L. Gray of Ft. Walton Beach, FL Violet L. Kirby of Matoaka Mary J. Evans and Albert of Bramwell Paula M. Winterod and James of Navarre, FL Lana Y. Woods of Navarre, FL Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork with Rev. David Kirby and Rev. David Lusk officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial park in Bluewell where Tony Woods, Roger Woods, Nick Ruble, Douglas Mitchem, Robert E. Kolb, and Justin Perry will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00 at the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork.
