Eppie Mae Steele Sullivan

Eppie Mae Cook Steele Sullivan, 57, of Edgewood Road Bluefield, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 09, 2015 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, Virginia. Eppie was born on April 07, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Lewis (L.B.) and Irma Stacy Cook. She was a longtime resident of Bluefield, Virginia moving here in 1971. She had also be a longtime member of the Bluefield Virginia Rescue Squad and was a graduate of Graham High School and National Business College. Eppie was a retired School bus driver. In addition to her parents Eppie was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald Steele and two nephews Brandon Cook and Jesse Cook. She is survived by: Her son: Mike Steele of Bluefield, Virginia One Daughter: Amy Akers and husband Brandon Sisters: Pat Smith and husband Darrel of Eleventh, Minnesota Gail Cook of Bluefield, Virginia Brothers: Jim Cook and wife Tamara of Tomball, Texas Tim Cook and wife Veronica of Chesterfield, Virginia Grandchildren: Stacy Steele, Ben Hendrick, Arianna Akers, Jocelyn Akers, Ashley Steele and Morgan Steele She will be greatly missed by her family; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bluefield Church of God 104 Highland Ave. Bluefield, Virginia with Rev. Tony Ellis and Rev. James Mooney officiating the service. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Bluefield Church of God.
