Sally Ellen Overbaugh

ROCK — Sally Ellen Overbaugh, 89, of Black Oak Road, Rock, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home. Born on September 5, 1925 in Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late Crockett and Louella Jarrett Presley. She had been a resident of Rock for 68 years and was a member of the Rock United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Overbaugh; daughter, Patsy Overbaugh; granddaughter Sydney Paitsel; sisters, Edna, Mildred and Martha; and 3 brothers, Ralph, Eddie, and Clarence. Survivors include: Daughter: Shelia Blacken of Gloucester, VA. Sons: Jimmy Overbaugh and Carol of Bluefield, Teddy Overbaugh and Tonya of Pulaski, VA; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Brother: Tom Presley of Bluefield; 3 sisters: Linda Wyatt of Princeton, Judy Reynolds of AL, Stella Barker of GA. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Damewood officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Craig and Dakota Paitsel, Chase Fortune, Tolson Willis, Delair Blacken and Paul Thornton will serve as pallbearers.
