Danny Ray Parks

Danny Ray Parks, Sr., 62, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at his home. Born on January 3, 1953 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Allen and Gladys Pennington Parks. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a retired machinist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gay Parks; two sisters; and a special friend, Chester Butt. Survivors include: Son: Danny Ray Parks, Jr. and special friend, Melanie Justice of Glenwood Park Daughter: Carmen Parks and special friend, John Reed of Princeton Brother: Buddy Parks of Bluefield Sisters: Rita Brayboy of FL Janice Parks of Elkhart, IN Hattie Honaker of Statesville, IN Frona Scott of Coca Beach, FL 4 grandchildren: Peyton, Trey and Brennan Parks and Danika Webb Memorial services will be held at a later date and burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
