Edith Margaret Gills, 87, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 2, 1928 in Tralee, WV, she was a daughter of the late Roy L and Edith Henderson Albert. She was a charter member of the Voice of Praise Worship Center where she was a member of the Praise Worship Team. In any situation, good or bad, Margaret would always say that we should pray about it. She was, above all things, a Christian and a Prayer Warrior. She was a dedicated homemaker and outstanding wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She has gone to join the love of her life, Bernard Gills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sonny Hall; her second husband, Bernard Gills; and her sisters, Wanda Peters and Shirley Carter.

Son: Bernie Gills and wife Angie of Bluefield
10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Voice of Praise Worship Center on Rt. 20 in Bluewell with Rev. David Frankenfield and Rev. N.R. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Evan Gills, Steven Gills, Danny Blaskey, Jacob Shumate, Alvie Fitzko, and David Riggs will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8PM at the Voice of Praise Worship Center on Rt. 20 in Bluewell.
