David Mac Bogle

David Mac Bogle, 58, of Bluefield, VA, died suddenly on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Wake Forest Cancer Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Mac was born on November 20, 1956 in Bluefield; he was a son of Mary Frances Johnson Havens of Bland, VA. He had lived in Bluefield for the past 30 years and had worked for AEP for 33 years before retiring in 2012. Mac’s passion was hunting on his mountain in Burkes Garden. A wise cracking sense of humor brought many laughs from his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Survivors include: Loving wife of 35 years: Nancy Cregger Bogle of the home Son: David Walter Bogle and fiancé Angie Ferguson of Bluefield, VA Daughter: Lauren Nicole Martin and husband Aaron of Pembroke, VA Pappy’s grandchildren: Gracie (Stinker) Bogle, Peyton (Hulk) Bogle, Kaleb and Brianna Ferguson Mother: Mary Frances Havens of Bland, VA Brother: CW Havens and Carol of Bluefield, WV Sisters: Mary Cole and Terry of Beckley, WV Kathy Cocus and Brian of Princeton, WV Melissa Myers and Daniel of Bland, VA Best friend and uncle: Ray (Bur Head) Johnson of Tazewell, VA Mac was more of a brother to many aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Barry Franklin officiating. After services, it was Mac’s wishes to be cremated. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
