Cloy Dewayne Price

Cloy Dewayne “C.D.” Price, age 70, of Lakeland Drive, Bluefield, WV died on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Christian Hands Adult Care in Princeton, WV. Born on July 27, 1944 in Weston, WV, he was a son of the late Rev. Haywood C. and Muriel L. Turner Price. He had lived in Bluefield since 1964 and was a retired salesman for the Dove Sign Company. He was a US National Guard Veteran and was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Keith Shrader, II; a brother, Clarence Ray Price; and a sister, Barbara Shrout. Survivors Include: Wife: Berta “Ann” Shrader Price of the home Daughters: Vickie P. Taylor and husband Rev. Barry Taylor of Wheeling, WV Angela N. Price Shrader of Princeton, WV Grandchildren: Bryson Keith Shrader, Joshua Taylor and Leanna Taylor He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Daniel Gunnoe and Rev. Joy Winfree Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where his grandsons and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home
