Paula Marie Booth

Bluefield- Paula Marie Booth, 34, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015. Born December 27, 1980 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late John William Woody, Sr. and Peggy Smith Woody Wright of Princeton, WV. Mrs. Booth was a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Bluefield, WV where she was a Sunday School Teacher and active with the Children’s Ministries. Paula was also a devoted wife and homemaker and volunteered with the American Red Cross. She was a 1999 graduate of Bluefield High School and enjoyed karaoke, dancing and helping others. In addition to her father Paula was also preceded in death by two grandmothers; Joyce Woody and Jessie Smith and her father-in-law; Russell Booth; and a special aunt, Phyllis Williamson. Survivors include: her husband; Barry Booth of the home, a son; Zyler Woody of the home, her mother and step father; Peggy Smith Woody Wright and Ronnie Wright of Princeton, two brothers; Robert Smith and wife Marsha of Bluefield, VA, John William Woody, Jr. of the home, two nieces; Katilyn Simpson, Chloe Woody, two nephews; Seth Smith, Trey Smith, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Paula will be conducted Monday May 11, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Gary Jakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens located in Bluefield, VA. Serving the family as pallbearers will friends and family members. The family will receive friends at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Monday May 11, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
