Franklin D. Beavers, 81, of Pinnacle View Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Born on June 14, 1933 in English, WV, he was a son of the late Aldie Beavers and Tracy Beavers Vitatoe. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ. He was a retired Coal Miner for CONSOL with 19 years of service and was a member of the UMWA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Arlene Beavers; and a son, Lynn F. “Frankie” Beavers.

16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Ministers Gary Lamie and Bart Wynegar officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
