Violet Quesada Pinter

Violet Quesada Pinter, age 79, of Lakeland Drive, Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at her home. Born on August 27, 1935 in Capels, WV, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Refugia Esparsa Quesada. She had lived in Mercer County since 2010 and was a registered nurse. She had worked at Welch Emergency Hospital for 10 years and Stevens Clinic in Welch for 36 years. She was a graduate of Morris Harvey College of Nursing in Charleston, WV. She was a member of the Carr Memorial United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the Methodist Women of the Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Marshall Pinter; a son, John David Pinter; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Tim Pinter and wife Robin of Bluefield, WV Daughter: Marsha Brown and husband Tommy of Princeton, WV Grandson: Timothy Pinter, II of Bluefield, WV Step-Grandson: Wendell Russell, Jr. of Bluefield, WV She was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Carr Memorial United Methodist Church at Glenwood, WV with Rev. Ken Price officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell .Her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell and at the church one hour prior to the service. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Carr Memorial United Methodist Church, 1544 Glenwood Park Road, Princeton, WV 24740.
