Emma Jean "Tootie" Fitzko

Emma Jean "Tootie" Fitzko formerly of Freeman, WV residing in Walnut Cove, NC for the last 20 years, passed away peacefully in her North Carolina home on Friday, April 24, 2015 surrounded by her daughters and son in law. Emma was born August 13, 1931 in Coaldale, WV. She was the daughter of the late Walter Thomas Walker and Flora Louise Griffith Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Fitzko, four brothers, one sister, one beloved grandson and one son in law. Emma is survived by: Two daughters: Jean C. Fitzko Shrader of High Point, NC Shirley A. Fitzko Bogart and husband Donald of Walnut Cove, NC Two beloved sons: Daniel Lee Fitzko and wife Christine of Lorton Lick Road Thomas Fitzko and wife Sharon of Tank Hollow Road Two Sisters: Shirley Walker Gibson and husband Randy of Coopers, WV Daisy Walker and husband Roy of Bluewell, WV One Brother: Russell Walker of Coopers, WV Emma was a beloved grandmother to ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by her entire family but remain forever in our heart. She will also be sadly missed by her niece Faith Cornett of Raleigh, NC. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. Carlee Stallard and Rev. Kenny Bogart. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, WV where Randy Dean Gibson, Danny Fitzko, Dennis Fitzko, Frank Hughes, Andy Bogart and Cory Bogart serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Gibson, Daniel Fitzko and Thomas Fitzko. The family will be receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the funeral home
