Nellie Onetha Mawalls

Nellie Onetha Mawalls, 86, of Groveland Drive Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Nellie was born March 31, 1929 in Coalwood, West Virginia to the late Myrtle Phillips. She had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 40 years and was of the Baptist faith, she was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by his husband Emmett Howard Mawalls and one daughter Sharon Trump. Survivors Include: Three sons: David Mawalls of Bluefield, West Virginia Randy Carroll and wife Jackie of Bluefield, West Virginia Ricky Carroll and wife Cheryl of Cleveland, Ohio Three Daughters: Reba Richardson and husband Jerry of Bellview, Florida Debbie Carrol and husband Isiah of Florida Karen Burton of Birmingham, Alabama Three Sisters: Lexie Rose and husband Tom of Cleveland, Ohio Marie Parnell and husband Freddie of Falls Mills, Virginia Alice Blankenship of Abingdon, Virginia 27 grandchildren, 36 great children and 3 great great grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. Danny Scott officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
