Effie Mae Warren

Effie Mae Warren, 89, of Max Meadows, Virginia formerly of Bluefield, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the home of her son. Effie was born on August 02, 1925 in Russell County, Virginia to the late George and Sarah Austin Salyers. She was a resident of McDowell County for 65 years and was of the Holiness faith. She lived 10 years with her daughter in Bluefield, Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Vider. Survivors include: Son: Samuel W. Warren and wife Agnes of Max Meadows, Virginia Daughter: Wanda Lou Goodman of Bluefield, Virginia Five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Mary Lambert officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where grandsons and great grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
