Gerry Ball

Gerry Ball, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend went to be home with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 with her family at her side. Gerry was born on August 23, 1938 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Winnie L. Wimmer Lynch. She was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School in Princeton, West Virginia. She was an avid reader; she enjoyed feeding and watching birds but was happiest when she was spending time with her family. She will be sorely missed In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Ball, her son Rick Yearout and stepfather Everett Lynch. Survivors include: Daughter: Debbie Yearout Bucher and husband Patrick of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania Son: Jeremy Ball and Partner Salvalore Price of High Pont, North Carolina Brother: Ronnie Belcher of Winston-Salem, North Carolina Granddaughter: Laura Phlegar John and husband Denny of Youngsville, Pennsylvania Great Grandsons: Hayden and Carson John of Pennsylvania Daughter in Law: Teresa Yearout of Tazewell, Virginia Special friends at the Bluefield West Virginia Rescue Squad Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 16 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. W.D. Hasty officiating the service. Burial will follow at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
