Curtis Wayne Barnes

Curtis Wayne Barnes, age 68, of Chicken Farm Road, Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at his home. Born on February 16, 1947 in Antioch, California, he was a son of the late Curtis and Alta Mae Dial Barnes. He had lived in Bluefield for the past 18 years and attended the Bluewell Church of God. He was a retired carpenter and was a US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Teddy Rae Barnes and Donnie Wayne Barnes. Survivors include: Wife: Sandra Gail Barnes of the home Sons: Bobby Dale Barnes of the home Joey Lee Barnes of Chicken Farm Road, Bluefield, WV Brothers: Ricky Barnes of Chicken Farm Road, Bluefield, WV Denny Barnes of Antioch, CA 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Bluewell Church of God in Bluewell with Rev. DeWayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Barnes, Joey Barnes, Teddy Barnes, Brice Barnes, Blaze Barnes, Mike Hernandez and Matthew Wagner. Ricky Barnes will be an honorary pallbearer. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
