Charles David Privett

Charles David Privett, 52, of Jester Court, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on September 12, 1962 in Welch, he was a son of Nancy Day Privett of Bluefield and the late Charles Junior Privett. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a carpenter by trade. He was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Waddell; and his grandparents, Frank and Sofa Day and Charlie and Opal Morgan Privett. Survivors in addition to his mother include: 2 sons: Charles Jason Privett and Candace of Sandlick Billy Ray Privett of Sandlick Daughter: Rebecca Stone of Bluefield Granddaughter: Katelyn Marie Privett Brother: Steven Wayne Privett of Sandlick Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The WV Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home. There will be a family dinner at the home of his mother, Nancy Privett following graveside services.
