James Richard Ferguson, Sr.

James Richard Ferguson, Sr., 74, of Camellia Drive (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home. Born on November 1, 1940 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Charles William Ferguson, Sr. and Eula Crotty Ferguson. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and formerly worked for Commercial Printing Co. He was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Eulalia Harmon, Ruth Gibson, Margaret Collins, Edith Glisson; and brothers, Charles W. Ferguson, Jr. and Walter Ferguson, Sr. Survivors include: Wife: June Wyrick Ferguson of Princeton Sons: James Richard (Jay) Ferguson, Jr. of TN Scott Ferguson of AL Daughter: Mrs. Greg (Shannon) Ratcliff of Bluefield 6 grandchildren Sister: Mrs. June McKee of Tazewell, VA Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 200 S. College Avenue, Bluefield, VA with Dr. Brad Scott officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00-7:00PM at the church.
