Michael Patrick Hubbard

Michael Hubbard, 37, of Bluefield, Virginia died suddenly Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following complications from back surgery. Mike was born on April 27, 1977 in Bluefield, West Virginia to John and Cecelia Beggs Hubbard of Bluewell, WV. Mike was preceded in death by one Brother Christopher Hubbard, maternal grandparents Vernie and Carrie Beggs and paternal grandparents Howard and Virginia Hubbard. Mike was a graduate of Bluefield High School and Bluefield College. He was an employee at Frontier Communications, and a member of Lorton Lick Baptist Church. Mike was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 10 years Jenny Hubbard and their two sons, Aiden and Andrew Hubbard. His parents, John and Cecelia Hubbard of Bluewell, WV; One brother, Eric Hubbard and wife Lisa of Charlotte, NC; two nieces Hannah and Cailyn Hubbard; Father and Mother in law, Shawn and Sharon Bragg of Bluefield, WV; One Sister in law, Jessica Whitehead and husband Adam of Beckley, WV, two nephews Brady and Eli Whitehead; Uncles Randy Beggs and wife Debbie of Bluewell, WV; Mark Beggs and wife Lisa of Rock, WV; Aunt Melissa Baker of Princeton, WV along with many other close friends and family members. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with his Father in law, Pastor Shawn Bragg officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
