James Ballard Stowers, 81, of Camellia Drive, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his home.
Born on November 24, 1933 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Ballard and Eula Smith Stowers. He had been a resident of Bluewell for 19 years and was retired from joy Manufacturing. He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran having served in the US Navy in Korea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Hoge; sisters, Erma Havens; and Mary Williams; and a brother, Howard Stowers.

Cryptside services will be conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:30PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Larry W. McClintock and Howard Owens, two elders from the Bluefield congregation of the Jehovah’s Witness officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00-1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
