John Henry Wimmer

John Henry Wimmer Sr., 43, of Pinnacle Lake Road Bluefield (Nemours), WV passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at his residence after a long illness. John was born on September 10, 1971 in Bluefield, WV to the late Charlie Sarver and Charlotte Gibson Sarver. John had been a resident of Nemours for the past five years. He was an avid outdoorsman whom truly enjoyed camping and fishing. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his brother Kenny Wimmer. Survivors Include: His wife: Melinda Wimmer of the home Three sons: John Wimmer Jr., of Bluefield, WV Jesse Youngs of Nemours, WV Chris Solis of Pocahontas, VA One Daughter: Aramus Wimmer of Bluefield, WV Five Sisters: Cathy Wimmer and husband Yasiar of Bluefield, VA Linda Jones of Bluefield, VA Bonnie Bowles and husband Russell of Falls Mills, VA Kaye Carroll and husband Herman of Bluefield, WV Jean Naggie and husband Brian of Bluefield, VA One Brother: CE Sarver and wife Nancy of Falls Mills, VA Special friend: Josephine McClahanan of Bluefield, WV Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. David Kirby officiating the service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA where Gary Wright, David Riffe, Jesse Youngs, John Wimmer Jr., Austin Harris, Gage Harris and Austin Perdue will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of his service at 2:00 p.m.
