William "Chuck" Charles Blizzard

William Charles “Chuck” Blizzard, 50, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Chuck was born on November 27, 1964 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Martha Faye Norton Blizzard and the late Charles Nathan “Butch” Blizzard. Chuck was a graduate of Bluefield High School and attended Concord University and Bluefield State College; he was a Postal employee for the United States Postal Service. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother James Michael Blizzard and maternal grandparents John and Clara Norton and paternal grandparents William Blizzard and Madge Tolley; Uncle Bill Norton and Cousin Billy Mayhle Survivors Include: His mother: Martha Faye Norton Blizzard of Bluefield, WV He is also survived by several cousins and aunts Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 05, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. N.R. Taylor Jr. and Rev. Edgar Orda officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where John S. Norton, John A. Norton, Keven Harvey, Matthew Wright, Shaun Blizzard and Luther Morris will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, March 04, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
