Lilly Belle Griffith

Lilly Belle Griffith, 81, of Idle Acres Road, Bluefield, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home. Born on February 19, 1934 in Coalwood, she was a daughter of the late Hubert and Rhoda Muncy Roland. She had been a resident of Bluefield since 1978 and formerly worked at Flowers Bakery and the Pinnacle Restaurant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Griffith; a brother, Boyd Roland; and a sister, Mable Orander. Survivors include: 4 Daughters: Kathy Glover and Bill of Bluefield Laura Griffith of Bluefield Bobbie Jo Buford of TX Sara Lee Lanter and Chad W. of Lexington, NC 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Mark Lawless, Thomas Wimmer, Chad Lanter, Bill Glover, Peris Herbert Roland and David Orander serving as pallbearers.
