Mary Lou Meadows, 79, of Princeton Health Care, Princeton and formerly of Brushfork, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Princeton Health Care Center in Princeton. Born on June 22, 1935 in Welch, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Oiler and Carrie Lee Perkins Oiler. She attended the Bluewell Church of God and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Meadows; a son, Charles Mason Meadows; two daughters, Barbara Jean Meadows, Sylvia Meadows; and a grandson, Charles Mason Meadows, Jr. Survivors include: Sons: Wayne William Meadows and Karen of Marshville, NC Gary Lee Meadows and Betty of Rock Daughters: Brenda Clark and Bobby of Monroe, NC Marcella (Sue) Johnson and Johnny of Montcalm Linda Maness and Tommy of Wingate, NC Becky Meadows of Montcalm Kay and Billy Joe Meadows of Bluewell 25 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren Brothers: Raymond Oiler of Bluewell James Jerald Perkins of Fayetteville Ebby Oiler of Montcalm Sisters: Loretta Lowe of KY Carol Sue Oiler of TX Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Ministers James Jerald Perkins and Dewayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Serving the family as Pallbearers will be; Wayne Meadows, Woody Meadows, Bobby Clark,Jr., Josh Shrewsbury, Chris Johnson, John Smith, Michael Myers, and Billy Tiller. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
