Deliah Joyce Wooldridge

Deliah “ Joyce” Sheets Wooldridge, age 81, of Horizon Street, Bluefield, WV died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her home. Born on January 19, 1934 in North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Inis Wallace Sheets. She was a graduate of Gary High School, was a member of Conklintown Church of God most of her life and was presently a member of the Bluefield Church of God on Cumberland Road. She had lived in Bluefield since 2000. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Wooldridge; brothers, Ralph, Marlin, Ray and Marvin Sheets; and sisters, Loren and Iny Bell. Survivors: Son: James Richard Wooldridge and wife Janet of Bluefield, WV Granddaughter: Jennifer Wilmer Great-Granddaughters: Isabella and Samantha Sister: Lois Clark and husband Kermit of Lasing, NC Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Michael York, Pastor of the Cumberland Road Church of God, and co-pastors, close friends and neighbors, Rev. James and Wanda Coe officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell where her family and friends will be serving as her pallbearers.
