Ronnie E. Gibberson

Ronnie E. Gibberson, 73, of Perdue Hollow Road (Brushfork), Bluefield, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his home. Born on January 26, 1942 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Frank and Ruth Perdue Gibberson. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the Brushfork Baptist Church. He was a retired shipping clerk for Bluefield Supply and the Noland Company. He was a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Gibberson; and a brother, James Edward Gibberson. Survivors include: Wife: Betty Sue Bailey Gibberson of the home Son: Billy Gibberson and Mary of Bluefield Grandson: Nevin Gibberson of Bluefield Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Wes Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Chris Miller, Lonnie Miller, Eddie Bowles, Danny Bowles, Todd Bowles, and Jim Gibberson will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home.
