Doris Sue Reed, 76, of Leatherwood Lane, Bluefield, VA, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home. Born on May 15, 1938 in Wytheville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Lacy Lane and Sarah Crigger. She attended Grace United Methodist Church in Bluefield until her health declined. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Reed; a grandson, Brandon Bolyard; and two brothers, Bobby Lane and Chink Wilhite. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Frank Crigger. Survivors include: 3 daughters: Sharon Bolyard of Bluefield Tammy Scott of Bluefield Kim West and husband Bobby of Bluefield Grandchildren: Jason Scott of Richlands, VA Jessica Cooper and husband Joey of Princeton Alicia Bolyard and fiancé Brian Wallace of Huntington Bobby West, III and wife Courtney of Bluefield, VA Joshua Mooney and girlfriend Chrissy Bradley of Bluefield, VA Andrea West of Bluefield, VA 6 great grandchildren: Alex Harvey, Oliva Watkins, Anna Adkins, Laci Cooper, Ryleigh West and Kylie Oakes, Luke Wayne Mooney to be born June, 2015. 2 sisters: Donna Dunn and Katherine Stevenson and husband John of Princeton Sister in law: Hester Evans and husband Joe of Roanoke, VA A host of nieces and nephews Special nurses and caregivers, Jessica, Ann, Donna, Crystal and Edie Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Larry Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA, with Joey Cooper, Louie Bolyard, Brian Wallace, Jody Scott and Eddie Davis will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
