Russell Everett Lucas Jr, 42, of Top Street Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, February 02, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Russell was born on May 16, 1972 in Emporia, Virginia to Ella Pearl Slivers Lucas and the late Russell E. Lucas Sr. Russell has been a resident of Bluefield for the past years and recently started attended New Beginning Community Church. Survivors include: His wife: Catherine Lucas of the home Two Children: Russell Everett Lucas III and Angela Lynn Lucas of the home His mother: Ella Pearl Slivers Lucas of Emporia, VA Sister: Ella Jean Lucas Mother in law: Grace Maddox of New Hill, NC Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 05, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Pastor Eric Nunley officiating the service. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
