Henry Grady Eason, 77, of Fawn Lane, Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 7, 1937 in Johnson County, NC, he was a son of the late Al Vester and Neppie Nettoy Lewis. He had been a resident of Princeton for several years and was a heavy equipment operator and operating engineer. He was a member of the UMWA and the Bailey Masonic Lodge #137 AF&AM. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Louise Eason; and a sister, Patsy Barefoot.

2 sons: David Ray Eason and wife Jeanette of Bluefield
James Vester Eason of Roanoke, VA
2 daughters: Gradena Nettoy Coffey and husband Barry of Mountain Park, OK
Melissa Louise Craddock and husband Charles of Princeton
7 grandchildren: Adam, David, and Andrew Coffey ; Sara and Henry Grady Eason II and Emily and Nathan Craddock
5 sisters: Letha Parrish, Edith Lee, Gay Childers, Betty Hill, and Teresa Shrum
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Gene Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veteran’s Honor Guard and masonic rites will be performed by the Bailey Masonic Lodge #137 AF&AM.
