Beatrice Howerton

Beatrice Campbell Howerton, 84, of Rock, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2014 at the home of her sister. Born on January 27, 1931 in Welch, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara Ellen Mosley Harmon. She had been a resident of Rock for 40 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mowles Chapel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Howerton; a son, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: 2 brothers: Walter Harmon and wife Myrna of Bluefield Josh Harmon of Rock Sisters: Mary Puckett of Rock Edna Wysong and Van of Matoaka Ethel Puckett and Roger of Bluewell Gladys Taylor and Benny of Bastian, VA Special sister in law: Helen Harmon of Bluefield Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, January 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with Rev. Eddie Mabe officiating. Burial will follow with nephews serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend services are asked to meet at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton at the time of services.
