Roger Wayne Chandler

Roger Wayne Chandler, 43, of 170 Coppola Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at his residence. Born on April 29, 1971 in Bluefield, he was a son of Janice Ramona Nichols Chandler of Bluefield and the late Roger Lake Chandler, Sr. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a disabled volunteer firefighter for St. Stephens Fire Dept. in NC. He had also recently received his certification of ordination as a wedding officiant. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Nichols. Survivors include: Mother: Janice Ramona Nichols Chandler of the home Sisters: Cindy Marie Hager Mona Ann Whitteker and Jenny Gembka and husband Pete A Brother: Boe Chandler and wife Patty Nieces: Kimberly Dunford, Kayla Simons, and Stacy Whitteker Nephews: Michael Whitteker, Pete Gembka, Jr., Michael Gembka, Ronnie Chandler, and Roger Chandler, III Great niece: Ryleigh Atkinson Grandmother: Mona Nichols Special friends: Casey and Tiny Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev.
