Jason Samuel Grose 45, of Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 07, 2015 in Beckley, West Virginia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jason was born on October 11, 1969 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Judy Black and the late Billy B. “P.O.” Grose Sr. Jason was a Paramedic with Bluefield West Virginia Rescue Squad and served his country during the Iraqi War with the US Army National Guard. Jason was a loving father, husband and best friend to his loving wife. Left to cherish his memory is: His wife: Dena Shrewsbury Grose of the home One son: Malaki Freeman-Grose of the home Daughters: Kyndall Gross of the home Hope Freeman-Grose of the home Brooklyn Freeman-Gross of the home Katie Mayhle of the home Mary Freeman of the home Kristina Austin of the home Mother: Judy Black of Green Valley, WV Special Niece: Ashley Shrewsbury of the home Special Nephew: Kyle Shrewsbury of the home Special Children: Leahdriea Woody, Tommie Miller, Angie Testerman and Candy White One Brother: Billy “Chip” Grose II and wife Leanna of Bluefield, WV One Sister: Suzette Nunley and husband Ronnie of Bluefield, WV Five grandchildren and five special grandchildren Memorial service will be conducted on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor Joe Robinette officiating the service. Following the service Military Honors will be performed by the West Virginia Honor Guard and Final call will be held by the Bluefield West Virginia Rescue Squad. The family will be receiving friends and relatives one hour prior to the service on Monday, January 12, 2015.
