Randal "Hambone" Hamilton, 71, of Bluewell, West Virginia flew away with the angels Friday, January 9, 2015 surrounded by his family at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born Tuesday, February 2, 1943 on Burke Mountain, he was the son of Wayne and Georgia Hamilton.
He worked at National Electric Coil and PEMCO for many years. He loved riding motorcycles, drag racing, playing guitar, gardening, working on and painting cars, and riding go-karts, He took pride in the fact that he built his own home and garage. He loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, West Virginia Mountaineers and his favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death one sister, Laura Martin.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor Ron Thomure officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where Josh Hamblin, Pete Hamblin, Josh Jesse, Bryan Carr, Susie Shrader and Sarah Shrader will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
