Winston Lacy Green

Winston Lacy Green, 49, of Adria Road, North Tazewell, VA, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Knoxville, TN. Born on March 12, 1965 in Welch, he was a son of the late Winston R. and Mary L. Bishop Green. He had been a resident of Tazewell for 2 years and was a mechanic. He was a former National Guard member and served in Desert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion in Welch. Survivors include: Wife: Cynthia Green of the home 2 daughters: Kayla Boerboom and Lambertus of Bluefield Lacie Waldron and Joseph of Princeton 3 grandchildren: Chayse Dotson, Ava Green, and Alexander Boerboom Niece: Erica Kidwell of the home Nephew: Clark Kidwell of the home Sisters: Bonnie Farrington and Donald of Montcalm Rachel Farley and Rick of Montcalm Crystal Green and BJ Rumberg of Bluefield Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Rose Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the WV Honor Guard.
