Winnie L. Lynch passed away at the Maple Nursing Facility on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the age of 97. Winnie was born on September 07, 1917 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late John and Ida Belcher Wimmer. She had been a resident of the Bluefield-Princeton area all her life and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Everett Lynch, one sister Marion Sheets, one brother Carl Wimmer, son in law John Ball, daughter in law Kay Belcher and a grandson Rick Yearout. Survivors Include: Her daughter: Gerry Ball of Bluefield, West Virginia Son: Ronnie Belcher of Winston-Salem, North Carolina Granddaughters: Debbie Bucher and husband Patrick of Camp Hill, PA Rhonda Sheek and husband Wes of Clemons, NC Grandson: Jeremy Ball of Greensboro, North Carolina Four great- grandchildren and four great- great- grandchildren Sisters: Ruby Hypes and Vivian Hatfield of Bluefield, WV Brother: Wayne Wimmer of Princeton, WV Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. W.D. Hasty officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where pallbearers will be her family and friends. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:30 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. The family is accepting online condolences at www.cravens-shires.com. The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV is in charge of arrangements.
