Robert Lee Johnson, Jr.

Robert Lee Johnson, Jr., 83, of (Switchback), Maybeury, WV, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home. Born on June 1, 1931 at Switchback, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Johnson, Sr. and Ila Shaw Johnson. He was born and raised in Switchback. After working 40 years in Chicago as a security guard, he retired and returned to Maybeury, where he loved. He was a member of the Bramwell Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene E. Simpson Johnson; and a son, Robert L. Johnson, III. Survivors include: Daughter: Deborah Greve and Bob of Erie, PA Stepson: Homer Qualls and Donna of NC 4 grandchildren: Tammy, Anthony, Destiny, and Ashley Brothers: Dick, Whyly and David Sisters: Ann and MaryHelen Many nieces, nephews and cousins, friends and family Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Paul Delida officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
