II Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have
kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them
also that love his appearing.
Jeffery L. Music, Sr., 63 of Skygusty, WV went to be with his Lord and
Savior December 4, 2014 surrounded by his loving family after a long courageous battle
with cancer. He still gave God all the glory up to the very end and knew he was a winner
either way. Born June 18, 1951 in Thorpe, WV he was the son of Roy and Susie Music.
He was currently the Surface Electric Coordinator at Cliffs Natural Resources, formerly
U.S Steel for 44 years. He thoroughly loved his job, but more than anything he loved the
many special friendships that were developed throughout the years.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a
sister: Jack, Jerry and Nancy Music. He was the last surviving member of his
immediate family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Music.
His three sons, Jeffery Music, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Phillip Music and companion
Rebecca Hall and Todd Music and companion Brandi Oliver all of Skygusty. Two
grandchildren: Aaron Music and Hannah Wooldridge, whom he loved with all his heart.
The Fowler Family who loved him very much. Special friends Kenny Church, Harry
Dove, Aaron Smith and Rev. Tom Lusk. Also a very special dear friend Sandra Lane.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 08, 2014 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Monday, December 08, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Craven Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Tim Akers, Rev. Jerry Graham and Rev. F.D Sexton officiating the service.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where Jeffrey Lynn, Phillip
and Todd Music, Kenny Church, Aaron Smith, Harry Dove, Michael Warren, Arlie
Roark, Benny Carter and Joe Graham will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Fowler, Jairus Fowler and employees of Cleveland Cliffs.
