Phyllis Ann Tyree

The gates of heaven opened and received our beautiful angel on November 1, 2014. After a short illness at the University of Virginia Hospital, Phyllis Ann Tyree went to be with her Lord and Savior with her children and grandchildren by her side. Phyllis dedicated her life to serving God and her family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother who nurtured her children in the admonition of God. She loved baking cakes and making flower arrangements and was the sole owner of Phyllis' Flower Designs. Phyllis was born on May 24, 1948 in McComas, West Virginia to the late George and Virginia Shrader. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Jerry R. Tyree. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Howard Shrader, Jimmy Shrader and Junior Shrader. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her Son, Thomas Tyree of Montcalm, West Virginia; Son, Gene Tyree and wife Diana of Princeton, West Virginia; Son, Randall Tyree of Bluefield, West Virginia; Sister, Shirley "Bonnie" Love of Alaska and brother, Larry Shrader of South Carolina. She had had six grandchildren who she adored: Cassi Tyree Bridgeman; Jordon Tyree, Austin Tyree, Katie Tyree, Brenna Tyree and Nichole Tyree. A celebration of life will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV on Thursday, November 06, 2014 at 11:00 am her service will be officiated by her friend of many years, Ann Nash. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where pallbearers will be: Grandsons, Jordon Tyree and Austin Tyree and Nephews: David Tyree, Junior Shrader, Steve Shrader and Richard Sheppard. The family will receive friends at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 05, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
