Audrey Kathleen Sexton

Audrey Kathleen Sexton, 88, of N. Third Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born on December 1, 1925 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Willingford Thompson Gorich. She had been a resident of Princeton for 45 years, was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Artie Preston Sexton; a daughter, Lena Cowan; and a grandson, Jason Lee Cowan. Survivors include: 4 sons: David Cowan of Bland, VA Richard Cowan of the home Robert Cowan of Elgood Allen Sexton of the home 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren Sister: Inez Toth of Princeton Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Jess Williams, Mark RaChelli, Bill Taylor, John Smith, Adam Bell, Kevin Brock and Michael Bell serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
