Cledia Jean Day, age 90, of Bean Station, TN, formerly of Skygusty, WV, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home. Born on August 13, 2014 in Skygusty, WV, she was a daughter of the late Ernest C. Freeman, Sr. and Maggie B. Harman Freeman. She had lived in Bean Station for the past 8 years where she attended the Church of God. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Skygusty. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Day, Sr.; a brother, Curtis Freeman; and 2 sisters, Pearl Odell and Betty Presley. Survivors Include: Sons: Ernest B. Day and wife Brenda of Bean Station, TN Robert F. Day and wife Josephine of Skygusty, WV Sister: Kitty Moxley of West Virginia Brothers: Ernie Freeman of Maryland Gene Freeman of Virginia Johnny Freeman of Virginia Grandchildren: Audrey Cannady of Bean Station Robert J. Day, Sr. and wife Michelle of Summerville, FL Daniel D. Day and wife Teresa of Cleveland, NC Denise L. Day of Skygusty, WV Pamela Simpson of Mooresburg, TN Beverly Day of Bean Station Candace justice and husband Eric of Mooresburg, TN 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 3:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Roney Marrs officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where her grandsons will be serving as her pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
