Sadie Lillian Church

Sadie Lillian Church 86, of Crane Creek Rd. Rock, West Virginia departed this life went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. Sadie was born January 12, 1928 in Freeman (Bramwell), WV to the late James M. Sullivan and Emma Fowler Allison Musalivich. She was a homemaker who loved her flowers, crossword puzzles until her illness fighting the battle of Alzheimer's disease. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Thomas Sullivan, One sister Alive Crotty, and her husband James M. Church, two sons Timothy L. Church and Jerry W. Church Sr. One daughter Kathleen F. Church Key and two great grandchildren. Survivors include: Her Children: Karen E. Church Woody and husband Allen of Marlinton, WV Raymond C. Church and wife Sandra of Atlanta, Georgia James F. Church and wife Deborah of Cass, WV Franklin L. Church Sr. and wife Carrie of Rocky Mount, Virginia Teresa Jo Ann Church Odle and husband William of Montcalm, WV Frances L. Church Owens and husband Ron of Pulaski, Virginia Twenty-three Grandchildren and Twenty-two Great Grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where Allen Woody, Cheyenne Church, R.C. Church, Jimmy Church, Frank Church, Sr., and Frankie Church, Jr. will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice of Bluefield 3879 Maple Acres Road Bluefield, WV in memory of Mrs. Church.
