William Bryan Pack

William Bryan “Buddy” Pack, age 65, of Anawalt, WV died on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Salem Veterans Administration Hospital in Salem, VA. Born on September 19, 1949, in Welch, he was a son of the late Willie and Sylvia Moxley Pack. He was a lifelong resident of Anawalt, was a graduate of Gary High School and was of the Methodist Faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict having served 2 years in the Marines and 14 years in the Air Force. He was a former employee for the McDowell County Board of Education as a custodian. Survivors include: Sisters: Sudie Dawson of Kingwood, TX Diana Lockhart of Warriormine, WV Cheryl Evans of Waxhaw, NC Nieces: Misty Barron and Chris of Kingwood, TX Jill Perkins and Kevin of Pageton, WV Nephew: Billy Evans and Anna of Mineral Springs, NC 5 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews Special Friends: Ray and Yvonne Wooldridge of Leckie, WV A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
