Margaret Bodner Wilk

Margaret Bodner Wilk, 90, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born on November 2, 1923 in Worth, WV she was the daughter of the late Mike and Julia Parda Bodner. She had been a resident of Brooklyn for over 60 years and was retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb as an inspector on the factory line. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Wilk. Survivors include: Brother: John Bodner of McDonough, GA Niece: Gloria Powell and husband George of Cantonsville, MD Cousin: Dorthy Chizmar and husband Ernest of Bluewell Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews Caregivers: Samantha Hendricks, Marissa Hanson, and Sandra Nery Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Father Mark Tyson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
