Lora Mae Bagar

Bluefield, WV – Lora Mae “Tootie” Bagar, 83, of 496 Duck Pond Rd., (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday September 25, 2014 at her home. Born September 1, 1931 in Bluewell, she was a daughter of the late Dock and Minnie Meredith Shrader. Mrs. Bagar was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell and was a devoted housewife. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, her husband; John Bagar, Sr., four sisters; Annie Mitchell, Edna Martin, Mabel Lambert, Lucille Carosi, four brothers; Ray, James, William, and John Shrader. Survivors include; two sons, John Bagar, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Bluewell, Thomas Bagar of Bluewell, a brother; Edward “Shog” Shrader and Freda Coeburn of Bluewell, a granddaughter; Brandy Bagar Fraley and husband Jason of Columbus, OH. Funeral services for Mrs. Bagar will be conducted Saturday September 27, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Emory Marchant officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
