Evan Ray Burnopp

Evan Ray Burnopp 28 of Old Bramwell Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. Evan was born on October 30, 1985 in Bluefield, WV. Evan was a 2004 graduate of Bluefield High School and served his country in the US Navy from 2005 until 2009. During his time with the US Navy he was station in Iraq as a Medical Corpsman. Evan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter Ray Burnopp Sr. and Mary Burnopp-Hamer. Paternal grandmother Kathleen T. Poff. Survived by his parents: Virginia Lynn Burnopp and Aaron “Shorty” Poff of Bluefield One daughter: Abigail Raye Burnopp of Moundsville, WV Paternal grandfather: Troy Wilson Poff of Terre Haute, IN Uncle: Mike Burnopp and wife Cathy of Bluefield, WV Aunt: Jessica Burress and husband Roy of Bluefield, WV Uncle: Brent Poff and wife Sherry of Apex, NC Numerous: Nephews, cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles His Beloved Dog: Diesel Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at South View Church on Rt. 20. Bluefield, WV with Ronnie Kennett officiating the service. The family will receive friends at South View Church on Rt. 20 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Evan at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
