Cherrie Annette Spears, 74, of Arbor Ridge Drive, Bluefield, WV passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Maples Nursing Home in Bluefield. Born on June 16, 1940 in Wagner, OK, she was a daughter of the late Marjorie Stowers. She was a former nursing home worker and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include: Husband: Dewey Spears of the home 13 step-children Several grandchildren and great grandchildren 2 brothers: Devon Myers of Wagner, OK Berma Myers of Oklahoma City, OK 2 sisters: Peggy Poolew of Oklahoma City, OK Donna Free of Henryetta, OK Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Harold Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
